    Twingo Tuners in the North

I know people have picked up a lot more torque lower down the rev range making daily driving easier, I've seen up to 24lb/ft gain at 2500 rpm. Top end you won't see much more without breathing mods for the engine with cams seeing the biggest gain. From multiple people I've seen have the remaps...

(HELP) Accelerator pedal sticking on full throttle

It does sound like the actual throttle body is getting stuck. Or there's an issue with the throttle body sensor

    Twingo GT down on power

It sounds like the blow of valve has seized up. All you'll need to do is to take it apart. Replace the o-rings inside and then put some silicone lubricant over the o-rings and the metal piston and it should work perfectly normally

Different width tyres front and back

Very true. The best thing to do would be to have the wider set at the back of the car rather than the front. This way you would be more likely to understeer rather than oversteer. Understeering is a lot safer than oversteering usually.

    Loss of Power! Help/Experience appreciated!

I had mine done under warranty luckily but I know there have a been a few people who have gotten it done out of warranty for free. Tell the garage you want to go further up to Renault UK and get it sorted due to an issue that they know about and also haven't done anything about.

    Lowering springs

the clio's with 58mm bolt spacing work perfectly. There are some coilovers for the clio mark 2 non-rs which fit. They're the cheapest you'll find but they're not the best quality and ride comfort is reduced a fair bit...

    Clio Stub Axle kit

The worst that's going to happen is that you might get some tyre rubbing on the back. But people have used 10mm spacers on the 133 without any rubbing with the 195 width tyre

    Clio Stub Axle kit

Your best bet would to be drop pure motorsport an email about it as they're very knowledgeable on this matter. There is a good chance it might fit as the chassis are interchangeable in a lot of places

Bought a Silverstone GP now regretting it.

Ahh ok that makes sense :P The BC-Racing coilovers have seriously good reviews. You can't beat the quality and what they offer for that price. I've personally not experienced them but probably 80% of people that get coilovers for the 133 get those.

Bought a Silverstone GP now regretting it.

Try changing the gearbox oil that could help out the gear changes. Otherwise you're syno's might need changing the gearbox which if you can do yourself great! Otherwise it's a very expensive. Did you not test drive the car before you bought it? The suspension is very firm. You can change the...

    4x100 6x15 et43

They'll fit but I don't know why you would change the alloys for one's that are 1 inch thinner. You'd be losing about 15% of your overall mechanical grip for a car the based on handling seems a bit silly to me

    Ebay Twingo - heads up

I'm pretty sure you have to tell people if the car your selling is a cat D or C. Otherwise it's classed as fraud.

    Air suspension

There isn't any information around for airride kits for the 133. The only people that have slammed their's have done it statically. I know havair airide have done airbags for a clio 172 which is very similar. But it will set you back around £3000

    Twingo depreciation temporary?

I'd avoid buying a car that needs major servicing work due soon. It won't add value to the car but it would increase the appeal of it. As JML said. The twingos are a relatively unknown car. I have to tell all my friends that it's basically a rebodied clio. So that's why there isn't any demand...

    Wheel spacers?

I would say don't get anything over 15mm as I think it just looks too much on a twingo. I don't think they suit the flush look. Most people just go for H&R spacers

Hey, welcome to the forum! The 172 wheels will be a direct swap :)

    Engine mods!!

Just get a 90 degree 57mm silicon hose and then put a universal pod filter on it. Or as I did and just put the pod filter straight on the throttle body. You're not going to lose any power from it. My old 1.2 16v had 82 bhp and another one of this forum with just the normal airbox set up had 80...

    Engine mods!!

Honestly none apart from a cheap induction kit as you're not going to get any power out of the engine.

    1.2 16v

Yes you can. No point in doing it to think you'll get any more power. You won't get much out of the 1.2 16v. They all seem to be producing 80-84 bhp from the factory rather than the 74bhp. I just put a pod filter on mine and left the exhaust as it is. I think I've got a video of one of the guys...
