    BOTTOM ARM/BALL JOINTS

Take it to your Renault dealer, tell them it's a known fault and you expect them to do it at no charge. If they give you any cr*p, point them to the thread in the previous post - there are 10 pages of us had the same problem, including some who've had it twice.

Green cars to pay London congestion charge

Nice to see them going after the Toyota PIOUS at last

Saying goodbye to the twingo soon.

It isn't - it's called "Vehicle Excise Duty"

    Curbed Pingo

I've done mine so many times now that I just shrug and think f*** it! It'll be someone else's problem when I trade it anyway

I'm starting to think my twingo attracts too much attention.

So who, exactly, do you think should pay for you to have the privilege of parking where you want?

    Famous people

I regularly see Bill Beaumont at Fylde Rugby Club on a Saturday afternoon - he's at most of the away games too. Saw him at the Coventry game a few weeks ago.

Anyone else heard of this ?

I play a similar game. If I see a Nissan Micra, I slap the driver

    What motorsport do you do?

LOL. Yes it looks quick! Yours is a Mark 1, so started out life as either a 1250cc or a 1500cc. The Mark 2 had a different grill / lights and somewhere along the way the engine sizes increased to 1300cc and 1600cc. Later versions had less-distinctive rear lights to replace the original...

    What motorsport do you do?

We used to have an Avenger when I was a kid. As light as a feather and so quite quick acceleration for its size. My Dad used to say "you can catch pigeons in an Avenger"

    insurance make's me lol

Just looked at quotes for an Audi A5 Sportback and it came in at £280, which is £20 less than I paid this year for the Twingo. So I checked quote for the Twingo and that came in at £249. Guess that's the bonus of turning 50

    Reading

I usually take 3 or 4 on holiday if I'm going for a fortnight, and Mrs-H does the same. We usually finish our own and start on each others' before we get home

    The other toy...

    Same here, mate!!!

    Reading

If you're into that sort of thing, I'd recommend the Jack Ryan series by Tom Clansey and the Mitch Rapp books by Vince Flynn.

    Got Married!

Congratulations! It's the best thing you'll ever do.

    Big car choice?

Yes, looking at buying. More I look, more I like the A5 Sportback.

    Big car choice?

Yes, CLS is a lovely looking machine, but probably too expensive to buy / run this time round. BTW - have you seen pics of its "baby brother" - the CLA?

    Big car choice?

Any thoughts on the Audi A5 Sportback and Merc C-Class, guys? Deliberately left BMW 3-Series out 'cos I don't want a Beemer at any price. ;)
