Twingo 133 brake calipers shared with what other Renaults?

Thanks for the advice, but yup, took out and cleaned off some very minor goo on them, but they were quite okay honestly. Also made sure the brake pad backing plates don't stick in the caliper anywhere.

Twingo 133 brake calipers shared with what other Renaults?

Thx for the info!!! I've bought new Brembo HC disks (the ones that were on the car when I bought it were knackered) and Ferodo DS2500 pads. Just need to fix the slightly sticking calipers and since used ones are so cheap I thought I'd buy a used pair and take apart and "renovate" with no...

Twingo 133 brake calipers shared with what other Renaults?

Did a search on the forums but couldn't find the info, what other Renault models does the Twingo RS share it's front calipers with? Mine are seizing just slightly and I thought I'd buy a used set from a scrap yard, but of course no one has a Twingo 133 caliper set since this model is extremely...

I decided to connect it to one of the fat power cables coming into the fuse box inside the car. The under-the-seat-amplifier is separately fused with a 30A fuse. There is a theoretical risk that I can blow one of the larger fuses inside the engine compartment when on full blast thumping away...

Thanks, I've been looking at the thread with that pic, need to remove the air intake and possibly more to get to it though? And I think the hole your arrow is pointing at is used for one of the pedals on a LHD. But I think I might be able to use the hole for the cables from the battery to the...

iBus 2.1 installed. Still a lot of sound settings tweaking to do but a great piece of kit!!! Only problem I have is to get a proper 12 volt main feed. Haven't found a way to get through from the cabin to the battery in the engine bay. I'm just temporarily tapping into the incoming 12 volt lines...

I couldn't resist ordering some stuff :D From www.lzparts.de I've ordered RenaultSport floor mats, a makeup mirror sun visor for the passenger side (wife commented on the lack of one :D ) and the center arm rest. Then I went slightly overboard ordering the under seat bass speaker from Focal...

I put Brembo HC disks + Ferodo 2500 on the fronts and new brake fluid. Vibrations gone. Brakes work great on track and street. Only thing is that they stick a bit when warm. So when releasing the brake pedal there is still some braking applied. Any ideas? The brake piston rubber seals are 100%...

Just bought this today, a Twingo RS 133 -09 with cup package. It was very beneficial to browse this forum before buying it. Thank you for all info in here! Not much to say about it so far, even though a friend already has started teasing me to buy the full K-tec exhaust and remap and I'm soooo...
