On a 17"

Is it me, or are these getting harder and harder to find?

Very few places actually have any stock of any it seems, I have found some Dunlop Sport Maxx RT's which have caught my eye though.

What are people doing as the stock of sport contact 3's seem to be running out? I'm not really interested in the price's that Renault gave me either for the SC3's they could source

I can only find cheap budget rubbish or stupid expensive stuff and there isn't really anything out there!

I have a feeling I may need 2 more soon as they're starting to look low, how much did renault quote you by the way?

Oh I can't even remember now as I was too busy laughing but it was ~£150 a corner. Which I realise they were trying it on and I wasn't about to even bother wasting my time. The woman in there lacks any form of customer service. Or even knowledge of what a customer is.

At £150 a corner i would rather pay the but extra for a decent 15" alloy and tyre package.

At least tyres won't be like gold dust then.

Ahhh I see sorry! Thought you meant for 16"s. I am a Muppet

Can people speaking about tyres keep it slightly more specific. Nankang, Pirelli and Falken... means NOTHING!

It could be a Continental. Continental WHAT? Eco tyre? Winter tyre? Premium tyre?

I'm after a set of decent tyres to take advantage of the coilovers with the additional arch gap I need for the height I want.

Ghostz bought 195/40/17 Pirelli P-Zero Nero.

I got Falken ZE914 in 195/40/17 and I could also get the Hankook's in 195/40/17.

They were in stock in Germany so I had to wait 1 week to get them.

First place I looked. And was shocked at the amount of tyres unavailable to order!

They're also not the kinda tyres that jump out at me and scream 'loads of grip'

I'm tempted to buy some 182 alloys (easier to clean to satisfy me on that front) and a better choice of tyres that seem readily available.

Well not track day rubber but certainly not looking for something worse than say the csc3 as standard. I'm on the look out for some oz f1s which would make tyre choices much easier and I love how they look. Even with the multifit look.

The maz1 I tried last time has left me wanting more premium again as on the 133 I can most certainly feel the difference after they've had some wear
