Yeah they've started gritting around here, I need to learn how to detail a car and wax/polish it properly.

I'm a proper noob at this kind of stuff lol

my car has like an inch thick of **** all up the boot and back window lol. i didn't think there was much point washing the outside of the car when there is grit on the road and its constantly raining lol but looking at those photos has made me want to wash it. i wish my car would fit into my garage so i wouldnt be so cold when cleaning it haha.

on another note im pretty sure i have a really nice photo somewhere of some frozen water beads on my roof :p

Ah well I like crystal clear windows, I can never achieve perfection on windows, always turns out crap :(

I always swear by AG Windscreen polish! Basically I pour a thin Lin over the windscreen and start to buff it I'm with a rag! Then buff up with a cloth only thing is elbow grease do it gently and it never comes up, give it some rough loving!

I've never seem to suffer from smears or anything. Lovely when it rains too no wipers needed!

As chicken about it as I've got him hooked now!

Not the blue glass polish? I've never seen windscreen polish
Yeah I thinks that's the on he means. He showed me it and I tried some. Soon after it rained I went out and brought some. It's so easy to apply and like James has said water runs off so well you can get away without using wipers however I recommend using them for safety lol. Also if the windows get a little dirty I clean them with the ag fast glass which cleans them up really well if polished. Sorry monster but I prefer fast glass to clearly menthol.

Cheers fried. I have a load of that but I never use on windscreen. Use on rear windows. But I machine it on. Works damned well ;)
