Here’s my newly purchased 2013 RS.
Owned by my friend Nick who
Is a well known member on here and has owned it from new.
He was never gonna sell it but decided to give in and sell it to me as he knows how pedantic I am with vehicle condition and maintenance and under the proviso that if I ever sell it on, he gets first refusal!
Nick has had the car ppf’d from new on the front end, skirts and all areas suck as rear bumper lip and door handles. To that end it has not a single stone chip and has never been painted and has the bodywork is truly outstanding. So too is the interior!
My plans?….
New cam belt and dephaser plus a service at local Renault specialist. It’s also getting powerflex engine mounts, ITG induction kit plus I’m replacing the cup springs and dampers with genuine Renault new Cup replacements from KAMTec, only because one of the front springs had snapped a coil and the dampers had a little surface corrosion and I want to give it a full refresh.
I’m also having HEL brake lines fitted.
I’ve already replaced the B pillar decals as they were faded with age and a common issue from sun damage. I’ve also fitted some Heiko wind deflectors.
I’ve also fitted front and rear badge covers in gloss black.

Im hoping to simply give this a thorough good clean and update and use it as a bit of a weekend car to relive the hot hatches of old with some mild but sympathetic upgrades as listed in keeping with the car and its originality.
It is also getting a new personal plate assigned…
