Anyone around this height managed to find a decent driving position??

Currently im adjusted so seat is as low as it goes with foot flat down on clutch the steering wheel feels far too close! Makes it hard to properly control and feel through corners..

I know race drivers etc sit close and i usually do but this takes the piss. No matter what i cant get it right!

Anyone else gave problems/advicr?

Yup I find it hard sometimes, 5'11"

have you moved the wheel down, that helped me. But it is preference. Would be better if the wheel was adjustable for reach too, and the seat went lower

Yeah wheel is at bottom if i mive it up it is further away but then its at an odd angle so you cant win lol just i swear the couple of times ive had sketchy moments i would have been able to feel it in my elbows first if you kbow what i mean as my arms are so bent its hard to feel the wheels

How comfortable you can get would depend on the length of your arms and legs as much as your height. I'm 5' 10" seat and wheel set as low as they go. Seat fore/aft positioned for comfortable leg and foot position on clutch. Seat back reclined so wrists can rest ontop of steering wheel with arms straight, which leaves arms with a comfortable bend when hands are at 9n3

Not perfect but works for me now I'm used to it

Pretty much how i have it except the backrest is bolt upright as i thought thqt would hold me in the seat better when cornering. Will adjust a bit and get back. Renault really should have made that other adjustment on the wheel i think

I'm 5ft 10 and don't have a problem, one of the comfiest driving positions I've had really  seat is adjusted to as low as possible I think. Steering wheel is low but not so low it brushes on my legs.

I'm 6'1" and although the Twingo isn't that spacious I don't have too much trouble.

Put the steering wheel at it's highest setting, the base of the seat it's lowest and furthest position back. But I lean the seat slightly back.

Seems to get the steering wheel far enough away from me then and the pedals as well. If I put the seat bolt upright how I would in most cars i'm just too close to the wheel.

Argh this car is annoying me with this one thing!

I want to be tucked in and supported by the sports seats but to get my arms far enough away the seat back as to be far back which defeats the object of having them. Ive tried having seat up high and steering wheel etc etc etc boy they should have made that steering wheel go in further!

I'm 5'10" and have no issues getting comfy in the Twingo. I like the wheel to be close (Have had a few track tutors telling me this is better) and the pedals not at full stetch away but not too close.

The only problem with the Twingo is that the seats dont go low enough (Much like the Clio 200). You fell like your sitting way too high.

i agree. doesnt help with my 6' 3'' frame feel even higher. luckily my legs are just short enough as my seat is one click from the back stop

I'm 6'5" and a bit, and find the 133 quite spacious compared to a lot of other cars. I actually have more headroom than in my partners megane (which has a sunroof), and have found a pretty comfy seating position

Ive had a history of 106s and saxos so maybe im so used to them in my head i cant get comfy maybe.

Just seems the relationship between my feet and hands is not a goos one in the twingo

good qrm positions is a krap leg position etc etc

now the 200 i WAS comfy in :(

I do think if the steering wheel could be pushed away or pulled closer it would make a massive difference.

I find that I end up leaning the seat back slightly to get the wheel far enough away which as said means you're not as supported by the seats as you would be if it was more upright.

I have them on both seats best mod I've done and quite fun to watch people trying to work it out!

I'm 5f 11 and always sit close, i feel like im not incontrol if the steering wheel doesnt sit and inch of my chest.
Had the perfect position, then removed a lot of weight from the rear and felt i was leaning forward slighty....tried to adjust and lost it! Can't find the right position now!!!

I sit close but like to be able to feel the car in my elbows so to speak and cant feel the corner if im sat too close

Yes deffo. Obviously not better than harnesses but they do keep you pinned to the seat and you still have free movement for blind junctions, drivethrus, car parks etc etc.

They're only about £45
