8x16 on 133?

You can remove the inside of the wheelarches so you can use wider rims.

Check his thread. There's a picture there that shows the sides of the insides of the wheelarch.

Trouble is, that's a 7 x 16" Rim with 205 section rubber....

I have a strong feeling 8 x 16" with 215 would scrub FAR too much to make it worth while - fouling on metal inners and rear shocks maybe...
 
Hmm, not good.....do you think adding some negative camber would help for the outside??
 
I think 215/40 on 8" is quite O.K., no real stretch, but also not too narrow. And an off-set of 32 is not an extreme one...

Your going to have some bad scrub age then on full lock either way.

ET32 is not extreme, but its still going to have 23mm more poke than the original ET55. Also, being 8" wide, you can add an extra 6 or 7mm onto that as well.


The GT and other 1.2 models have a different offset (ET35mm?) compared to the RS (ET55)
