A Good Run Out..

Hey Guys, I'm Fancying a run out in Dini either this weekend or next, anybody recommend some good places to go/drive to?

I'm based in Middlesbrough so was thinking either the Lake District, Moors, Dales or possibly scotland way.

my family have a lodge over in Appleby in Westmorland so gonna pop down to blackpool for the day/evening next time i go over to the lodge, which is looking to be start of september

Buttertubs pass and plenty of other good roads that are almost on your doorstep.

Get a map (you know, paper thing with lines on it representing roads) and plot a route, then google street view to see what the road is like if your off the beaten track

Dont worry Neil i kmow what a map is haha! Ive had a look at Buttertub pass it looks like a contender, was thinking of driving there and then on to the lakes

A bit more local inspiration for ya, courtesy of 197. I've not done this as a route, but the roads round there are rather good and the road up over Hartsead is trully epic
