Me and a few mates went away this week down to South Wales following a car show we attended last weekend. First day we went to the Black Mountains, Ellan Valley the day after and then headed up North and did the Evo Triangle. Was a really good few days, shame we had the trek back to Northern Scotland on the Thursday.

Some of you may spot the Quattro, such a nice motor. Was really impressed by that and the EK9. Unfortunately, my Twingo is broken so I hitched passenger with a pal with the white Fiesta.

Anyway, here's some photo's.

The supercharged ST was also impressive, the power was always there when you wanted it...and the noise!!

My dad (yes my dad...) had a white 10 plate Bocanegra for 2 years. It used 1 litre of oil every 400 miles it emerged, and after many a trip to the dealership (and including a whole new engine later), it was still not fixed, was worse on fuel and didn't feel as quick

Should in theory put me off wanting something with that engine but low and behold, I'm currently obsessing over a Fabia VRS...

Sounds like a Seat

The newer ones past 12 plate are meant to be more reliable

I've heard that too. The second engine that went into my dad's Boc was meant to be the newer version of the 1.4 TSI that all the 12> models have, but it must've been fitted by the Saturday boy or something lol.

Just a shame that the Skodas that age are still a little out of my price range atm... I'm happy to keep the Twingay in the meantime tho...
