thanks mate

drilled out the rivet holding the handle on then notched the side of it out and as it also has a thing that looks like this ( U ) going into the door to stop it moveing i thed the wire inbetween it and into the door,
cut the insulation and brought it infront of it and the duct taped it up to stop road noise comeing into the car to seal it back up and also taped the cable to it too i don't want it to get caught in the window mec's and undone the quick releace clip on the door.

then put a tiny hole in that clip in a spair ways and thed the wire throgh the holes and into the car then ran a wire up to the interour light and wired it to the remote cable that only lights up when the car is locked and unlocked and open the doors :)

That's quite smart Matt. Did you manage to get them wired into the multi-connector like you were hoping to, as it reads like you ran a continuous wire through it?

As for the colour, the white balance set for the picture is incorrect for the lighting as your motor is definately white, not yellow. However, even the best white LED's have a slight blue cast to the light, plus with the different light bulbs adding to the picture, I doubt even a custom WB would look right.
