so, in september i was planning on getting my new car, sorted it all out with the dealer bla bla... its a fair amount more than my twingo but in my eyes worth it....

BUT

the mrs, is insisiting not to do it.... we where planning to place a deposit on a house in the next year (just over) now this wouldnt happen if i bought the new car... i see her point i have a perfectly good car, gets me from a to b, and a house will set us up for th efuture... BUT i love my cars!

what do you guys think, i live at home at the moment not paying much rent, i would love to move out,

whats your toughts on this boys and girls?

definitely go for the house mate, it will be a lot of effort but it will be worth it. Plus then you get to keep that nice Twingo of yours :D

House. The car isn't as important and once the house is all sorted you can start saving again for the car you want.

i defo think the house!!!! im soooooooooo shocked karl said house thou; cos we were looking into movin in with each other and now he has changed his mind again which is extremely frustratin!!!

Thats a man thing, it`s taken me 5 years to get my boyfriend to finally agree to move in with me :)

Head says the house. Heart says the car. It's always hard but hey. If your not putting the deposit down for a year... Probably should go with head though!

Its gotta be house. Sounds like you know its the right choice but can see why you want the car, cant beat a new car!

I can't believe it's even debatable which to go for  house!

It's not like you're in a bad car in anywya either

House without a shadow of a doubt!

I love motoring and I love my cars but if they hindered my life in terms of moving on then it's a no brainer.

Also, once you have your own place, there's always time to go for the cars you want. Also the Twingo 133 is a brilliant car so it's not like you've got to drive round in something dull.
