A new road saddle needs .........

........... A new seat post.

So last night after a bit of thinking and standing around Evans cycles waiting to be served to see if i liked a saddle or not. I found one i liked that felt more comfartable then the one on my road bike currently. So i weighed both the Seat post and saddle currently on the bike when i got home.

Saddle - 350g
Seatpost - 440g

Then fired up old ebay. Got a brand new saddle RRp £79.99 for £39.00 it says it weighs 250g but all the other sites with the same saddle says 225g(claimed) so one or the other. And today ive been looking for a new seat post and found a Felt 1.1 carbon seatpost and that weighs 220g didnt do bad on that either brend new RRp £35.00 i got it for £19.99 so did a doo bit of money and weight saving
