So my nieces nursery decided to hatch some baby chicks and now they didn't know what to do with them, we took them seeing as we already have 6 chickens and are getting more anyway!
We took them on thinking they were 3 girls and my niece Lola called them Rosie, Leyla and Daisy I think it was but on closer inspection Rosie is actually a Rodney and we can't really keep a cockerel as he will fertilise the eggs and we don't want more chicks! They're also noisy as hell and can jump over garden fences, we said we will raise them all and when Rodders is old enough we have some friends who own a farm and poultry business and they said they will have him!
I'll go and get some pictures in a minute so anyone who wants to see can do so, they're only 4 weeks old and before they can be introduced to the others they need to be at least 17 weeks!
