Since I am one of the biggest noobs in car audio, I could need some help...
At Renault, yesterday, I bought a "Kit" for removing the original Renault radio-unit. The guy told me, thats all I need to put in a Pioneer/ Sony/ Alpine/ anything else. Now I removed everything and have this big plug:

I need an adapter, searched random electric-stores and also car-hifi-stores. The only one I found was from "Hama" and on the packaging it said "for Megane 3, Scenic" and some others... but not for Twingo. According to it's shape it should fit, but the guy told me, it could be possible to mess up the whole electronic of the car.
I don't really think that i could cause trouble if some connections aren't the right ones, since the car has working fuses, but I'm not sure. Also, I have to order it. Because in Germany there are plenty of parts for VW, BMW and others, but if you drive a Renault you are kind of an outsider. He have to order it, etc.

Does someone of you can tell me if, first, that one could possibly fit in? I don't think that there is _such_ a huge difference from Megane 3 to Twingo.. should be the same, second, if I could mess up something?

And yepp, I know that the screen is worthless after changing the unit, also the volumne control on steering wheel ;)

Edit: I mean this one: https://www.hama.de/portal/bySearch*Renault/action*2563/searchMode*1/articleId*28736200

Right looks like you have the Bluetooth kit standard ? If so from what I can see that will no longer work and you will loose the screen on your dash as well if you change the stereo. You will need a harness to plug. Into that big one then it will convert over to the one you will need if you send me the make of the stereo "model number" you got I can have a look for you if you like.

Got that sound package, 4 Speakers and Audio-In ("White and Red plug"- Edition). I don't really need the screen. If it works I want to put on that R1-update-thingy where there is a static text saying "RENAULT" ;)

Make of stereo model number? I hope somewhere here is included the number you asking for :D :

This is the plug (right) which comes into the Unit and the plug (left)... think thats this "ISO" Plug (?):

that Adapter is also same for VW and some other cars .. it's the same .. it costs arround 10€.
And if you have a Pioneer you can buy some Steering Wheel Remote Control Adaptor (connectors to plug into this adapter) for arround 70-90€. Then your original Steering Wheel Remote will work again :)

VW? Hmm.. tryed a few adapters but noone fitted, also the one from Golfs&Polos does not :/ thinking about building an adapter by my own.. :/

Proxy have tried searching for fakra on eBay I'm sure you will find something to help you make a loom up ?

Proxy .. my friend who is having car stereo shop , sayed most new car makers are going on this weird connectors on back of the radio ,same that is renault using in new radios.. and then you need this normal ISO adapter to connect back to normal radios...

Said it, because I also tryed the VW adapter. From its shape it fitted perfectly, but nothing worked with it. Radio dont even responded when pressing on/off.

Maybe you need to connect red wire to +12v supply . ... some radios dont have direct supply ..
i think it's that ...
