Hey, just finished pulling my hair out!!

Does any1 use after fx and/or encore?

I hate them! But I also love them when they work! Lol

I find them so user unfriendly! The interfaces are horrible! But I have to use them for work.

I suppose it's just an experience thing, I'm new too them though!

Ta

I start using FX but not Encore, and i do the video editing in Premiere Pro. But i´ve been using Photoshop for a decade now (ouch, getting old just by saying that!) and it made it easier for me as most effects and the layout are similar.

Although for FX, i just watch tutorials all day long !!

I edit on avid media composer, and I can do the basics on photoshop
It's a nightmare trying to get the hang of FX!

Encore not so much, been using it a bit longer and I can get it to do what I want (usually with a fight). Lol

AE is an awesome programme. As is Encore, although a little buggy when it comes to actually burning the disks off. The whole CS suite is fantastic now, especially with Dynamic Link. Makes using PS, PP, AE etc all so seamless. I couldn't live without them.

Although my new job means I get to use them less :(

I totally agree wit u al! But I need to learn them! I just can't get my head round after fx that well! Lol

I'm ok wit encore and photoshop!

Basic same principle, it's all in layers and added effects with parameters.
