I paid £900 for renewal on my old mercedes with admiral, adrian flux wanted £2800 over the phone!!!

Adrian Flux weren't too far off with mine, and weren't pushy at all when I said I'd had a better quote (unlike some other providers). Don't quite see where the deluge is coming from, it's just another place to ring - and what's the harm in trying?

Hi I've just received my renewal for £640 I've received a quote from Direct line for £570 (lies) well we can bring it down to £550. SOLD! To be honest I had a look on their site before and noticed it was on there for £550 but I thought if I lied about direct line they might try and under cut them a little more. Still £1k less the Adrian flux!!
