So I'm still undecided what I'll do with the current rims I have (on my Wind).

They have some curb damage, either I refurb them or keep them like this until my tires are worn out and buy new rims all together with new tires.

Found a couple ones I really liked (but I dare not look at the price of them yet.. )

They're 16" unlike the 17" that are on now.
I think in driving comfort its better of a less low profile tire and longer endurance for the tires.

It varies from tyre to tyre.

I went from a 17" 195/40 profile Conti SP3 to a 15" 195/50 profile Toyo T1-R....and the ride is still just as hard.

For the likes of Advan (Yokohama) Neova AD08s, they have steel inserts in the sidewall to make them stiffer, so a bit of reasearch is needed....avoid the placebo.

Going to a smaller rim has much improved the driveability of my car, much more spritely with only turning the inertia of a 15" instead of a 17" :)

Well also I might consider a 16" because it means a little less chance of hitting curbs.

Now that I've been looking at these rims I've been overwhelmed by the amount of tires you can put on there.. holy ****

Tyres are somehjng worth doing research over. But forums isnt always the best place. A lot of people drive their car like its a touring car championship then complain they couldn't get more than 6000 miles from a set of t1rs...

As for the wheels. I like them but if I'm honest oz have been ruined for me since every focus and fiesta seems to have them! Almost getting that way with compomotives. Still wouldn't mind a nice deep set of mo5s made up, slightly beyond the reach of your average chav due to the price too thank god

Must be a UK thing because OZ is something you do not see often here in Belgium. Thats one of the diffrences though, the couple of times I've been in the UK is the amount of more tuned cars.. never seen so many Skylines in my life.

There are also some Dotz wheels I like but for some reason at work its being catagorized as a swimsuit/lingerie site..

Regarding tires, I always liked Pirelli's (I blame my dad for that).

A few of us are looking at heaven on wheels in march in Belgium :D get some inspiration there ;)

I've been looking up some second hand (used) rims and found a couple that are very much teasing me.

But not to sure actually how they would look on my black car with white decals. I was imagening white rims but I'm afraid thats going to be too eye catching or they could turn out quite well since a white car with black rims looks very sleek

DOTZ White edition 7x16" (700€ & no damage)

Superleggera 17" (+ tires 900€ in new condition)

Go for the Ultraleggeras in Black.

The DOTZ wheels are cheap and nasty IMHO :(

Yea I think you're right.

I contacted the seller about the sizes of the Ultraleggeras because I'd be great if I could put the tires that are on my Original Diamond Cut Renault rims onto the Ultraleggeras.

Tonight after work, me and a friend or going to a guy who sells second-hand these:

with 205/40r17 Pirelli P-zero Nero tires for 850€
Maybe with some negotiating to 800€ or less.

If all goes well I'll have 2 sets of 17" :D

So because I decided I was going to keep my car I've actually bought these & considering the state of these rims and tires this was a bargain. I've tried one on and it looks stunning, white wheels on a black car.

Can't wait until the summer right now

I found some second hand wheels for sale and I'm guilty but they're more stance wheels than the sporty performance typical Speedline wheels..

Momo Piecha R3.. they're quite rare wheels. Designed originally for Ferrari.

I asked the seller if I could fit them on my car.

Other one are Artec S1 Edition.. asked as well to try and fit because they're wider than the Momo's.

Thing about these is they exist out of 2 or 3 parts so if they're too wide, I could replace the lip.
