Are there 2 pipes under tye stock air filter important? As want to get an enclosed bmc filter.

There 1 pipe but it splits

I goes from the air intake to the air filter box with a slit of to the resenator box

Theres the ridgid inlet pipe to the airbox, with a T hose from the scoop above the radiator. Branched off from this, theres the resonator box which hides inside the left hand wing.
