Looking for some winter tyres and rims for my car just wondering what the best sizes widths etc are I.e.

ET... 7.7p

That will fit without spacers thanks

For winters, it would be folly to go wider than standard. Your expecting it to be wet and/or snowy so wider tyres arent a good idea.

Struggling with that

Wheels I've been offered are

7J x 16inch ET 40 PCD 114.3.
65mm - 66mm centre bore

centre bore is 60.1 so you'll need spigot rings to take the size down. As above, you need 4x100, not 114.3

Ive just added a picture to the first post in the above link, showing the pcd and centerbore. You can see that the center bore locates over the spigot on the hub, to centralise the wheel... too small and it wont fit. Too big and it would be loose and getting the wheel central would be tricky and there would be higher loadings on the bolts. Spigot rings can be used to reduce center bores, especially on mass fit aftermarket wheels.

Pitch Circle Diameter. usually written as (no of bolts X diameter in mm of the circle they are arranged about) 4x100 for Twingo hubs

Got you bros thanks for all your help it's sounding tricky though I've been offered a set of 4 OZ racing wheels £100 with tyres which I'd probably remove anyway, just wondering how they would work on my twingo being for a totally different car

whats the rim diameter (15? 16? 17?) and what car did they come of. do you know the offset?

one option for you LC is to look into pcd adapters, hubcentric ones. you can then put whatever alloys you like onto your car, if you want subaru wheels for example or citroen wheels etc etc you you just place them onto your hub like hubcentric wheel spacers and they bolt in to your existing 4x100 bolt holes. not seen it done on a twingo yet, it's your story book after all sir and is up to you how you write it you know :D ?

205/50 R16 tyre is the only other information I missed, plenty of other options online they were brought for an evo but didn't fit don't really need branded wheels but the resale would be great
