Depends if you're going to throw a bit of money into making the 500 quicker or not?!

The BMW just bores me a bit
I miss a petrol engine
I miss fun driving

With the Twingo I loved getting into the car and going for a drive. I don't really get that urge with the BMW. Is it because I'm maturing or because I'm bored with it. It's a great car don't get me wrong, just not for me

Opposite of maturing if you go from the 1 to the 500 rob.

I'd be looking at a nice spec ds3 probably for the money and that sorta fasting pace.

i am biast becasue i love hatch backs, but teh 500 is such a nicer fun looking car, a car should make you want to drive it not just to get from a to b.

my vote is 500

For the price bracket you're looking at -->

Though what is it in particular that's drawing you to the 500 over all the rivals?

Rob there's loads.

In fact in the office there's been deals floating around of slgays (right up your street) for silly prices (£250pm with okay mileage) which someone was looking at.

It's the running cost, the BMW with servicing, brakes, tires etc is mental

Erm well I've owned a Twingo, 500 abarth gets good reviews, don't fancy a mini, a1...expensive

Alfa running costs are a whole new ball game, trust me.

I know its probably not you Rob, but the new small hatch ill be looking at is the Swift. Unless I find the right Gordini 100 ;)

197/200, 225
Fabia VRS
Fiesta ST, Focus ST
Abarth Punto <- Considerably cheaper to buy than the 500

There's lots of options around to consider...

I also have a bit of a fetish for the rallyart colt...... some very good tuning packages for those.
