so this morning I was woken up to a knock at the door from the neighbour, they had most of a rear wiper and it turned out to be mine, some heartless dick had just snapped it clean off!

So does anyone know how easy it is to de-wiper?

Cheers

Open the boot, couple of torx screws to remove the plastic tray and that should reveal the motor. Guessing it will just be a couple of bolts to loosen the motor. Then you'll need a rubber grommet to plug the hole (guessing 20mm??)

Low life scum everywhere these days

That's not good mate. We had this on the same road of work, some mindless idiots went along the whole road and did it to every single car there over night. Came into work and had all the neighbours enquiring about new wiper arms.

My motor was held on with a type of rivet/bolt so mine wont be going back on

If you would prefer having one, my wiper arm is avaliable. A bit of postage and its yours.

Otherwise, remove the cover then nut which holds the arm onto the spindle.
Undo the screw where the bool lid handle is, then pull the panel off.
Remove motor :?
Dome shaped gromet in the hole
Refit boot panel.

Cheers for the help guys, thanks Neil's but I've got my motor off now, just need to find a grommet

No probs Brad. I got one (well, a pair) from the local motor factors. It was the largest size they had in the usual red blister packs of fuses etc

Ahh fair enough, I'm an electrician so we have loads on the van, just got to wait to go back to work this week and will get one.
