I have a ipad and I want to connect it to my usb powered external hdd and have them both portable so when on a train ect I can watch films ect on the go. Does anyone know of a device that will connect to the external and convert it to wireless? I know it's possible but unsure what thing I would need to use!
 
I have found these but what I mean is a box that makes my hdd wifi, not a wifi usb as they cost a bit as I have a few hdd's
