My granddad was a Freemason.

Really don't have much of a clue about it but know when he died he left some weird books and robe thingy.

My dad was asked if he wanted to join but turned it down as never interested him.

Ruined our relationship with my dads father. Spewed all his money into it. Don't understand it at all. He tired to get my dad into it and me as well.

I don't understand the Freemasons, all I know is its some sort of society and apparently some high up people are members of this society.

Read "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown.

You still won't understand.

But at least you'll have read a good book. ;)

It can cost a lot of money but can also benefit you in a lot of ways.

I remember my mum telling me how my granddad had to organise some yearly event at his cost and it did cost a fortune. But in the same breath you benefit from knowing people in all circles of life so it opens doors in terms of jobs and business. Plus if you're in financial problems for example you can call on their assistance.

It's all a bit cloak and dagger though if you ask me haha.

Is dan brown the da Vinci code author? I would definitely describe his writing as an air port read. I've read 2 books perviously and neither struck me as good

Thought so. I'll skip that one then :p

You just like skipping. ;)

Back on topic, I think you will find out as much information on the internet as there is anywhere. Don't expect members to say too much about the organisation, as that is the nature of the society.
