Hi guys :)

I'm after your thoughts on what we could do with an area on our garden. It's not big (not sure of exact measurements) but there used to be a regular sized greenhouse there.

The greenhouse is gone.. And this is what we are left with

Not the best pics but it's hard to show! Anyway, the boundary is the red fence - a panel fell down and is not my responsiblty to fix...

What have you guys got in mind for this area? I want to put a 2 metre high fence down the side, and along the back where the fence should be, and then I want to leave the bit facing the rest of the garden open or maybe close it off with a one metre fence?

The area will be used for BBQs and small table and chairs... Any ideas?

Cheers :)

stick a ramp in there

Unless you want to break all the concrete out and turf it over, I'd say decking was the obvious way forward

And a few tubs in front of the bit of wall you're left with to disguise it a bit ;)

a ramp lol. can dig it out, the house is on a slope so it sort of levels out with the back door being that height.. and in front of the wall we are putting a small shed so plant pots wont fit ;-)

Thank you, i really dont want turf there.. needs to be a seating area of some sort..

u could stick a pretty cool water feature/rock pool etc there
wouldnt take much work and u could use the base for some of them.

drip drop through my en-suite window which is next to there... i hate ponds (watery things in the garden) they need cleaning too often and i would be the only one to do it lol

My bad I didnt notice the pond thread and cleaning oops

You could do some block pathing with a bench or some wooden chairs. I'll ask a friend on wednesday when i see him as he does landscape designs for his work.

I don't really want it paved, the rest of the garden was landscape designed, and then there is trellis which covered the greenhouse and compost bin we had. Now they are gone.
The main part of the garden is paved in Indian stone with a circular patio by our lounge. Then the pathway goes along the side of the house to this area. I want something that will compliment but not take the eye to far off the main garden! Tricky/Fussy I know!
