Is anyone here from Aberdeen area I'm moving there due to new job in August just going to ask where's best place to buy a property not too expensive just wanting a 1 bed flat up there I was even thinking of static caravan in a 12 month site as ill still be coming back down to boro frequently etc cheers

Where will you be working in town? As if altens cove is decent value to buy but not if you work in Dyce as traffic will be terrible.

Im from Aberdeenshire, for around £90-150k you can get a 1-2 bed flat in aberdeen .

Check on aspc for property.

Yea been looking at aspc going to rent somewhere for couple months first to get jist of the place ill be working in the ab24 area people and if anyone knows where any rooms to rent are going let me know haha

I stay in Grandholm Village. AB22. Lovely place and not stuck right in the city centre.

It's my folks flat and they were a couple of months ago but one of my mates is renting from them now with me. Stay away from anywhere beginning with a T. Tullos, Torry, Tillydrone. :L Northfield is also pretty bad. My dad is a paramedic here and my best mate is a cop here. These are the places they quite often get sent for crappy jobs.

Ahh sweet I've been told to keep away from Torry and north field what's old Aberdeen area like? Also what are the country roads like up tere in winter when it snows even thought of a 12 month static caravan haha

Old Aberdeen is where the Uni is. Full of fanny . That is all

Hahaha! I agree with Ollie. Old Banterdeen = Fanny. :L It's pretty cold. Wouldn't want to live in one over Winter. If you're wanting a good driving road I usually go out towards Newburgh or Old Meldrum for a fast blast.
