Same as KW coilovers but in our german Forum all People have issues with AP,Weitec, KW (all the same) cause it makes knocking sounds on bumpy roads. And in my opinion CUP-Chassis with H&R Springs works better than this aftermarket coilovers.

That's interesting, fair enough

What price are they? When I was looking for coilovers there wasn't a massive difference in price between be and ap's and with the top mounts and camber bits on bc's it made the bc's the choice for me. Although I had ap's on my old fiesta st and they were not bad though but can't comment on twingo ones. Although I did swap them for meister r ones on my st.

I have some here. I took them back off because of noise, first thing in the morning. It was then I discovered that one was blown. I bought them secondhand, but they were nearly new, and it only lasted for a couple of thousand miles on my car.

I've got KWs and if, as mentioned above, the APs are the same I'd go for BC or something else. The KWs are good but they knock a lot and dont come with top mounts and adjustable dampening like the BCs! I really wish I'd got BCs now :( maybe next year if I get saving!

The ap ones are only 450 thought and the cx ones I have found are like 750 hahah and I'm just trying to save money but I obviously don't want to compromise on quality

BC come with top mounts, are 30 way adjustable dampening and the rears will go lower, if that's your bag.

Once you add the price of solid mounts for the front the price gap is greatly reduced.

DON'T bother buying direct from BC though. I tried, and told them I was happy buying from a reseller unless they would match that price (and the reseller was only going to buy direct from themselves anyway) and they turned the business down. So I purchased from elsewhere, and BC lost out by the additional £80 or so

I get a knock from the rear of my car when going over some larger dips and bumps. Its the exhaust tail pipe touching the top of the bumper cut out.

Is that what it is?

I adjusted my boot striker and made it worse, then stiffened the rear struts and it mostly went, but the speed bumps on my road definitely want to try their hardest to make it.

I have a box of fuses in the boot that makes an awful noise that I need to sort out soon, and realign the striker and hopefully that's it done.

I was thinking of making it worse by adding spacers and inevitably hitting the random spikes renault left in the wheel arches

Have read some reviews on the ap's and it's very mixed so I think I'm going to save and go for some BC's :)

That would make so much sense....because my knocking is coming from the exhaust side, I never even thought it could be the exhaust itself!
