Not a motoring review, but i couldn't decide if to put it here or in the 'Pub Talk' thread... Anyway...

I've seen a few threads going around about new phones etc. and i thought i would let everyone know what a great service Apple run! I got my iPhone 3gs nearly two years ago just after it came out, and in January the screen went all funny and the calibration went and when i pressed one bit, it pressed somewhere else :? took the phone into my local apple shop in Brighton and they just gave me a new one straight out! i was like WHAT !!!!

Then last week or the week before the silent switch on the side broke, and it was just constantly vibrating when you pushed against it... a bit of a pain when its in my pocket all day :x so i made an appointment and then today went and they gave me another one straight out a packet, brand new! took it home and i don't know what happened but the phone malfunctioned and said that it didnt have a valid sim card in it... i was like whattt?!??!? (shouting all the names under the sun) but yeah... took it back an hour after my appointment, and they gave me ANOTHER new one!!

So when you are looking for a new phone - i no there are a lot of anti-apple people out there - bare in mind that this is what sort of service they give you... no matter what service you run from. Absolutely brilliant

OMG thats not fair. My iphone 3gs does the vibraty thing and the battery lasts about 5 minutes. Took it into my local O2 shop as they are my network provider and just paid out £139 because the "warrenty" was void. The silver on the front had came away from the black backing making the warrenty void. If you want a iphone make sure you look after as this has P***** me of now

Having said this, the same problem has occurred since i tried updating the iphone again... sad times...! will be down there tomorrow morning at 9 to try and retrieve my lost contacts with my laptop too

My mate stepped on his iPhone 4 and broke the screen , went straight into the apple store in Aberdeen and got it replaced straight away.

What a service!

Just an update, after an error on apples part two years ago and five new iphones since, all problems with my iphone are settled four iphones in the space of 24 hours must be a record?
