Does look similar but then look how much profile vauxhall copied off the Renault megane, especially the coupe model!

Just to remind you guys that the previous Astra generation (the edgy one) came out before the Megane, which copied the proportions and bodyside. As the new Astra GtC came out, everybody said it copies the Megane... Well for sure as it was designed in continuity with the previous Astra, from which the Megane borrowed a lot...

Anyway, today's industry is full of requirements which will make the cars look more and more alike.

Looks nothing like the astra apart from the fact is has lights, a numberplate and a rear window.

To be honest a lot of cars look alike now days.

As said the Megane came out looking like a more rounded Astra and now the Astra looks very similar to the Megane as well. Certainly in terms of proportions.

That said I've often thought that some of the Korean cars take their looks from other cars and kinda rip them off a bit.

Well the Kia is much smaller than an Astra, for a start. I think they take inspiration from all over, certainly, but they look quite smart in their own way. Kia has come a long way

I'd definately have the Kia over the Astra there's something about them and the front on the Astra Is dull dull dull!
