I'm fairly sure this won't be news to many as it's all I've heard about all day, but what a tragic scene happened in London today. RIP to the British soldier who was attacked

As a British citizen and ex-member of the armed forces, I'm truly saddened at the state of the nation

I think it's disgusting that they can do this to one of our own countrymen, armed response turn up and they shoot to maim?! Then they get the Air Ambulance out?!

If we had similar policies to America they would have been killed without a doubt...

As has been said above, i hope they get locked up with a group of people who all support the EDL...

Such a terrible shame. This young lad was in the forces to fight for our country and he gets killed in this way. My heart goes out to all of his family.

I'm glad they didn't shoot to kill to be honest, for one they are of more intelligence value if they are kept alive and if they'd have been killed that is exactly what they wanted, the only reason they stood around afterwards was so the police would turn up and martyr them.
So not only have they not got what they wanted but they will now end up in prison where they'll get filled in by all the lifers, terrorists don't get protective custody.

Jails too easy, they would get food and who really wants their tax money to go towards keeping terrorists alive.

Lock them in a shipping container and drop it in the middle of the ocean after allowing the EDL nutters at them.

I agree. Prison is meant for demoralising people. Now they are in prison I doubt the inmates would be particularly happy with being put with terrorists. They've now been subjected to humiliation in the prison via rape, beatings and I'm sure multiple other things.

Yes! I watched a video the other night that someone on my friends list had liked/commented etc and the guy started by going "now I'm not racist at all, this is just my view etc etc" then wrapped the video up by going "**** off back to your own country you dirty paki muslim *****"! Complete hypocrisy at it's peak there. Some people are being so shocking about it.
