After six days traveling and stuck in port, I'm finaly heading off to do some work. It's a little bit rough and I'm feeling a bit queasy today :( Only 7 hours to go for the first shift

Not been sea sick before, with 4 years on boats. Although the sea is a bit rougher up here than I'm used to. Two weeks ago, it was 105mph winds and 24 metre waves :?

ouch, not god mate. feeling sea sick is horrible because theres no way to stop it.

hope you are ok mate and recover quickly!!

What do you do out at sea? are you a fisherman?

Remote Operated Vehicle. Usualy to support oil companies, whilst drilling or installing infrastructure subsea.

Sucks. Perhaps in your moment of weakness you'll find it impossible to mod us lot then the site is really stuffed?

I'm fine now, as we have steamed out to the place we are required at. So now were here the boat is just bobbing about a bit :)

Earlier, as we were under way and plowing through the waves, I stood on the scales and was varying between 45 and 105Kg over 10-15 seconds, whereas I'm normaly 72Kg. Being as the food is good, I may gain one or two extra over the course of the next week, ready to loose it whilst steaming back to Aberdeen which may be rougher again :(

Tomorrow afternoon, we should be starting sailing from Greenland back to Scotland. 18 meter seas (60foot) and 80mph winds forecast for south of Greenland, 6 days across the top of the Atlantic then rough again above the Shetland Isles.

Oh joy, should be fun :)
