Was down at my local dealership today and took a couple of snaps of a few cars they had in the showroom.
Have to excuse the quality as I took them on my iPhone but you get the idea. Firstly was a Gordini Twingo TCE in black. To be honest, it doesn't really stand out over a normal GT for any other reason than the stripes.
The thing that got me is that even in black you still get the blue bits inside, which I think just looks kind of weird. :? I'd have thought they'd have gone the whole way and give the black Gordini a black or grey leather interior.
Also, the standard Gordini TCE wheels had been replaced with these, frankly pants Wolfrace ones. The original wheels were stacked up at the back of the showroom and actually looked quite good from where I could see them. Nice glossy silver finish with black inserts.
Next up was a RenaultSport Clio 200 Gordini in black. I must admit that I don't think the Clio lends itself to the blue/white of Gordini as well as the Twingo. In black and white though, it looks very smart and I'd say better than blue.
Only let down on the Clio Gordini is that again it's got a blue/grey interior which stands out for the wrong reasons against the black and white exterior.
Lastly, the car that really caught my eye was another RenaultSport Clio 200 lurking at the back of the showroom. From the pictures it looks white but it wasn't. It was a kind of primer grey colour and I though it looked superb. Not sure what colour it is officially though as it looked lighter than the Lunar Grey of the R26.R.
