My preference would go to H&R or Eibach ;)
I don't think Eibach do ones for the 133.

H&R look to be wound the same and lower a simillar amount as the Apex ones which I have fitted. Theres probably nothing in it, though I think the H&R ones are black, so may be a bit more oem look.

H&R would be my preferable choice but that's not something I've fitted to the 133, that's previous experience.

i have searched all brands only springs that are decent would be H&R or Apex , i got the H&R ones dark grey -25mm front to rear , love the handling bit more bumpy but still easy to get everywhere cause you are not to low to the ground however i already broken something on my protection plate under my car , but yeah i go everywhere with that car ;)

I wouldn't touch apex... Ride quality is absolutely dreadful! I had them on my Clio before and they were awful!

Awful doesn't realy offer much constructive criticism and, comparing ones from a different car with different weight and highly likely to be a different drop makes any comparison to the RS133 springs a bit pointless :?

H&R ended up with a very simillar looking spring to the one from Apex. The free length, number of coils and coil spacing is prety well matched if you paste one picture onto another. With that, I would imagine the ride quality would be very similar too. Both of them will be stiffer than the original springs as theres a few coils which are coil bound as soon as the car is on its wheels.

I haven't seen pictures of the Spax springs to try and compare them, but they have a simillar 30/25mm drop.

Last time I checked Eibach they had lowering springs for the Wind. Since it's the same as an RS, I reckon they would fit too..

Could be wrong though, it's been quite a while and I didn't look back to it since I wanted coilovers.

i always say this to people never save money on handling characteristics (also safety reasons) tires , springs , dampers , brakes .. you get the picture ;)

don't save on it when you know if you pay a bit more you got quality ....

especially when you drive sporty if your only for the "stance" scene people buy crappy coilovers and then wonder why they rust up ,bend or break ....

Apex was the first company to make springs for the 133. If im honest they have done a cracking job. If its being used as a daily car if could be to stiff. But mine isn't a daily so there perfect. Handling is sport on and gives it a nice stance.

Vmaxx is not a top notch brand..

They make coilovers too and they sometimes get chosen over AP/Weitec/KW because they tend to lower your car alot but the quality of the material isn't as good.

i got h and r springs in the end and i am very happy with the results, the car sits nice and handles nicely :D Would definately recommend them :D

im gonna try and get some good pics soon, i have thursday friday off next week for cleaning and maybe a remap so will get lots of pics then just before fast show :)
