Just got the thought of a huge twingo meet, the biggest ever!

This might not go to plan at all, but we should try mock up a huge weekend/long weekend twingo meet that like 90% of this forums users can attend, right in the middle of the uk somewhere so its fair for everyone to travel

Would be nice to meet most if not all the frequent users on here and this could be the way to do it!

Ive not planned any kind of meet before, so lets start from scratch, where is the middle of the uk, when is best for everyone, this can be months away or even next summer?

Sounds like a good idea. As to the middle of the UK, there is much debate over the geographic centre of the UK. So I'll include the OS listed centres below.

Great Britain: A field near Whalley, Lancashire.
England: Lindley Hall Farm, Leicestershire
United Kingdom of GB & NI: A mile south of the city of Lancaster

Often used alternatives are:
Just south of Lichfield,
Leamington Spa,
Morton in Derbyshire
etc. etc. for various reasons.

I dont know, but it was down south wasnt it? And you had to buy tickets too

Where ever people are happy going, if its gonna be as busy as i hope there should be plenty of convoys so nobody should be traveling far on there own

Looking at the member map, its fair to say theres more people down south, so ide say around the derby area aswell? Maybe leicester?

I'm game for this... I know they done CSS at the heritage motor centre I. Gaydon, that is rather central... I'm good travelling that distance, any further than that and I CBA lol!

Game for this! Derby is probably not a bad location, but obviously im game for any places further up north
