Blackberry - OS 6

Hey

As the title suggests, has anyone upgraded their Blackberry Operating Software to Version 6.

I have just done it, and i think it will take a good few days to get use to, it has a lot of sliding windows etc.

Does anyone have any views on it?

isnt this the os thats meant for the torch?

thats why its got all the sliding windows etc coz of the torches touch screen and the fact the torch is a lot more powerful to cope with it.

havent got a blackberry any more but will ask my mate in a bit

Yeah it is meant for the torch, but i think its been adapted for the other models, i have the bold 9700.

Last night i just plugged my Blackberry into my Laptop and opened up Blackberry Desktop Software and then it said i had a software upgrade so i thought what the hell and did it, but i think i may be downgrading if i dont get use to it.

I have a Bold - which is on it's last legs - should I bother as the last software update had issues that meant BBM contacts where lost.

i wouldnt bother to be honest mate, the os 6 is mainly for the torch, stay with the one youve got

my mates got one, she loves it, but they are massive and i know the internets not that great on the blackberry but apart from that, the rest of it is awesome

As dave said, i wouldnt upgrade it yet till i its tweaked a little more. I have no problem with loss of data but it just take some time to get use to it, but i kinda like it now.
