Right, this isn't about cars or owt ... but it made me chuckle so i thought I would share :)

I upgraded my phone today , didnt want to, was told i had to get a new handset to keep the contract, so i picked the exact same basic blackberry (im dull like that) mainly because the other ones looked a bit girly.

anyway, the salesman assured me this was the phone that would last much longer than all the nicer iphones etc (LIES)

so i set it up at home and started using it, shortly after it developed a rattle!, so i took the back off and a bloomin screw plopped out into my lap then went down the floorboards!

dam cheap phone! can i return it? even though the screw is missing? not too fussed as my last one was held together with gaffa tape for a while.... just be nice to have something semi posh for a while :D

Depends on the shop to be honest.

I would take it back saying that you felt it was loose n saw a screw was missing and you havent touched it, worth a try

Good idea, all I did was take the back off ( to put the battery in and out) and a screw plopped out.

I'll take it back tomorrow and show the bloke the gap lol.

You legally have 28 days to return a product if u arent happy with it any way. If i was u i wouldnt mention the screw, just take it back and say is this meant to be like that because i dont think it is ;)

Thankyou! I shall go armed with this information to the shops in a bit :) new phone here I come!

Ha! Can't afford an iphone, not on £12.50 a month!
