What else is good other than powerdvd. I'm refusing to pay £50 for the software!

Tried DA player with no joy so far?
 
Last time I tried VLC player it didn't allow playback to do with the encryption and rights to play the bluray? Unless that's changed now?

Far better waste of money IMO and far easier
 
To be honest you can't go wrong with a dedicated player when it comes to top notch video/audio playback.

I have a Pioneer Bluray player that I use as although I stream movies from my Mac you can't beat having it properly playing through in full definition and top audio quality.
 
Do you have a liteon drive? They have free be's on there site ...
