Needing new brake pads for my new celica. Any ideas on who makes the best pads? Looking at bermbo's/ Greenstuff etc.

Any body help please?

Then don't use greenstuff at least search there's many topic lists what brake pads pass muster for track use.

IF you HAVE to use EBC for track use Red or Yellow.

But there are shed loads more better options.

Mintex make good track compounds - or Ferrodo DS2500. Usually a lot cheaper than the Pagid greys or blues.
Pagid are a bit irrelevant here, as they only list the RS4-2 blue which is a good fast road/oem compound but not realy up for a hammering on track.

After being thoroughly un-impressed with EBC Green and EBC Red, I havem't tried them again... However, apparently the yellows are fairly good

www.fensport.co.uk were always good for Toyota parts

Dont Ferodo do pads for the Celicas? I went for the DS2500s in our 200 as it'll see some track use but primarily road use. Their DS3000s are supposed to be $hit hot on track cars.

Mintex 1144 compound is a well tested and used compound, my dad uses it on all his rally cars whenever possible.

If not, try the Tarox Corsa compound.

The DS3000s SHOULD be ok for a car of the Celica's bulk, some smaller cars have had difficulty keeping the heat in the pads.

:D
