Autoglym do a product called ( I think) bumper gel. Did a search and can't find anything on the forum. How does everyone rate it? Its the green stuff was thinking it may be good on all that grey plastic?

Smells good. Prep is key, the surface must be cleaned properly before appplying any dressing. But remember, it's a dressing and not a restorer or a miracle.

Once it has been applied, sparingly, give it a slight buff to remove excess to avoid it running if it gets wet

Maybe. I've never found it very long lasting, but I've ditched that style product for other treatments. It's also been a long time since I've used it

I use it any find it pretty gd tbh make sure it's clean before you apply it and on my car it lasts a week between washes unless I get it really dirty

Yeah definitely doesn't like dust lol, but it does look lovely and shiney at car shows :) And it smells ******* awesome.

I don't like shiney shiney on trim and tyres. I like it looking new and a more satin finig

Instead of the AG bumper gel, why not try the AG Vinyl and Rubber care.

It says to either apply and buff immediately for a satin finish, or apply, leave, then buff for more gloss.

Try this, apply with a clean cloth, making sure the bumper/ plastic trim looks uniformly wet, then leave....
Let it dry on its own, and dont remove it at all.

It will look a bit duff to start with, but after a few hours it will be nicely covered.
Rain drops bead off nicely and even after a few washes it will still look good.

My experience anyway.
Hope this helps?

I used to use the AG bumper gel and it's ok, but it doesn't last very long and is quite greasy.

We sell Dodo Juice Fantastic Plastic. It's a spray trim dressing/sealant and I've found it to be excellent. It's really easy to use, it leaves an excellent finish and is also very durable in comparison to other trim dressings.

We also sell Dodo Juice Supernatural Trim Sealant, which is a semi-permanent solution (lasts for about a year or so, if prepped and applied properly). It's more fiddly to apply but the durability is very impressive.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I stayed away from the spray as I thought it would bee messy

No problem.

Some sprays - like the cheap ones from supermarkets etc - are very messy and very poor quality.

This spray is quite the opposite. It's not in a compressed tin like many of the cheap ones are. It's a bottle of liquid with a spritz-style spray head. The liquid also changes colour - from pink to orange - in different lights, which is useless but pretty cool.

Of course, it has to be stated not ALL reviews are without an element of bias

I'm not posting a review. I'm making a recommendation.

Everyone knows we're a trader on here (it's written in all of our posts), and everyone knows we specialise in Dodo Juice.

If a product wasn't very good, I wouldn't come on here and say it was, whether it was made by Dodo Juice or any other manufacturer.
