Right Guys.. I have organised to borrow some axel stands over the weekend so i can get on with it and bite the bullet to finally get the calipers painted on the car :) Not too sure on what colour to do... red or yellow? also would be nice if anyone has any tips from experience or anything :) As soon as i'm done ill post a step by step as for how i would do it :)

Looking at your profile picture what about White ?
I've always used hammerite to paint my calipers cheap and does the job.
Get a good wire brush for cleaning up the calipers and some break cleaner to make sure there is no brake dust in the way. Do it by axle front first then rear.

Mines not got rear calipers its not the 133! (unless im being thick?) I dont want white ones :p

I've recently painted y front ones still gotta do the back ones- got the caliper paint from halfords I went for orange just mixed the yellow with a lil bit of red, advice is to make sure your calipers are clean as possible and don't rush it apply thin coats prob take 3 at least but the more thin layers the better

Did you put a lacquer on after? i cant find any clear ones :S

No dint put any lacquer on it don't think u need it with the caliper paint but u might wanna check

well the halfrauds website said i dont but then i had heard from a couple of other people that i should. im not really fussed tho... you got any pics of yours?

Definately Red!! these alloys have red callipers behind them and look amazing when i photoshopped them onto my car:

Nice pics Ruddie. And ive gone for red after seeing the pics Hollie put up :) Another question.. Ive not got rear brake calipers.. so do i paint the bit the wheel sticks out from... whatever the technical term for that bit is lol

You want to paint the rear brake drums. Just don't paint where the wheel bolts up to, you will se this when the wheel comes off.

Not yet I only had time to do one wheel in the end! Needed to leave home by half 10 to get to london and it took longer than I expected to sort things through!!!

Oh and to add to this, white is a pain to keep clean
