When I was in France last month, i was amazed at the prices cars were going for!
a battered 2000 Nissan Almera with 144,000 on the clock , £3000! Crazy! The locals said that people don't care about mileage and that all cars are worth something, i seen a rotten ancient fiat panda with an asking price of £1400.
Would there be any demand for our silverstones in France? Yes, they ain't LH drive, but surely the fact there is only 50 and it's a french car with a few extras you don't normally get. It only costs £150-250 to re-register in france and it's not exactly a huge distance to transport. You could possibly get a couple of thousand onto the asking price or more!
This is an old Peugot 309 we borrowed for the day. Rotten, stinky, buggered gearbox and some crazy engine noises. The owner said he could sell it for 1500 euro easy! That's a scrapper over here. (that's not me in the pic btw)
What would be the pros and cons of selling your twingo in France???
