When I was in France last month, i was amazed at the prices cars were going for!
a battered 2000 Nissan Almera with 144,000 on the clock , £3000! Crazy! The locals said that people don't care about mileage and that all cars are worth something, i seen a rotten ancient fiat panda with an asking price of £1400.

Would there be any demand for our silverstones in France? Yes, they ain't LH drive, but surely the fact there is only 50 and it's a french car with a few extras you don't normally get. It only costs £150-250 to re-register in france and it's not exactly a huge distance to transport. You could possibly get a couple of thousand onto the asking price or more!

This is an old Peugot 309 we borrowed for the day. Rotten, stinky, buggered gearbox and some crazy engine noises. The owner said he could sell it for 1500 euro easy! That's a scrapper over here. (that's not me in the pic btw)

What would be the pros and cons of selling your twingo in France???

Pro's - get more for it in theory. Its french so would possibly be a popular car.
Con's - its french so would more than likely be loads for sale and therefore take longer to sell? thus maybe forcing if desperate to lower the price closer to what you would get for it over here?

But there isn't loads of silverstones right? None in france anyway! Only 50 in the UK.
Wouldn't the RS monitor, Renaultsport Stainless Exhaust and the limited edition aspect put it up above the rest as a must have?

Don't they get their own special editions?

Like Australia got the agp clio
