Just for co-op 6 months of ownership "give it a check over" check.

I think this is the first car I have ever owned that has made it too the first 6 months without a warranty claim. Pat on head little twingo.

Had its health check. One of the lower suspension arm bushes is looking a little worn so they are replacing it as a matter of course.

Cracking service as usual Co-op blackpool :D

I think I might chuck my car in for a check up, just to make sure everything is still were it is meant to be n nothing is broken.

5 and a bit months in and 8000 miles (mileage has slowed down massively after that 3500 miles in the first month ) and no signs of accelerated/abnormal wear that needed attending to on mine. Only work needed doing was a precaution to replace a possible over torqued bolt and to put a pin back in that another garage didn't. They seem quite robust for such cars, what with the haters trying to give renault a reputation and all

It didnt cost me anything, they arranged it when i bought the car.

Really!? is this standard practise when you by a new car then?

No but any good garage will likely offer some sort of health check to keep your custom.

Good idea, but at the same time I'd be like "why do you think it will go wrong in 6 months!" lol

It was 2nd hand as well. Co-op blackpool seem to do it as standard, or maybe they are trying to show willing after all the problems I had with my Megane. Either its a good practice.

No but most cars have niggles that need to get sorted. My smart was nothing but niggles

Ive had mine 10 months and I haven't had one from there :( just got it taken in to have the clutch pedal fixed though, picked it up from my house and was done next day! Walked in "hiya it's the twingo isn't it?" "yeah it is :)" "heres your keys bye :D" .. I was like whaatt! Didn't tell me what they did or anything, just in and out 30 seconds haha

I bought mine from them (new) and they didn't offer me anything like that...

...but I think they knew they'd goofed and given me about £1,500 of extras for nothing so maybe they thought they didn't need to

I got a good deal there too actually i must say..
After being in the citroen garage looking at a C1 on lease..
It was for 3 years, and if i wanted to buy it after the 3 years everything alltogether would of cost about £8k.. rip off for that piece of **** that sounded like it has no exhaust or something..

but i just thought it was cool cause i was 17 :)
im only 18 now.. but yno
So went over to renault, saw my beauty in the front window! walked round the back and i thought.. what an ugly car! really liked the front though..

But anyway, it was like £8-9k to buy.. brand new with 7 miles on the clock.. test drove it and we were all so impressed! ( even shutting the door sounded better than the C1)

Got them down to £7k i think it was, and my finance is about £1k, so i basicly got £1k off and finance free!

And the back looks pretty now :)))

Cars in for the lower suspension arm change today.

Been given a Kangoo as a courtesy car. 1.6 with a auto box. Five years old, done 44k of very hard miles.

One thing Renault never seem to get right is a automatic, all the ones I have driven hunt of gears, linger in the wrong gear and jolt about all over the place.

Must not grumble as i didnt have to pay and it had some fuel in.

My car after 6 months all ready had 2 window regulators and my gear box/clutch out to fix a release baring witch has gone again but everytime I take it to arsehole Clark it doesn't make the noise it made it slightly when I was last there but nothing that they could do the worst thing is when I get in the car weather I've been driving for 20 mins or starting from cold it make the whirling nose and at times it's loud as hell but what can u do I've already got Renault UK Involved cause I'm sick of the treatment from Renault
