so what cars have you guys raced on a (private road) and beat just thinking maybe we can have a list on what it can and can't beat

Whats with all this private road b*****ks? :|

I don't race anyone on the road it's for twats you wanna go fast take it to a track.

/rant

Track wise I've embarrassed:
Track stripped slicked MK2 Golf Gti
Clio 197
Lotus Exige (driver was shocking )
Seat Cupra R

Can I just say I outdid an Audi a4 the otherday! (and I'm not even in a 133, in a 1.2 Dynamique!)

It's not the car you've got, it's the way you drive it!

clio and golf i can easily understand but thought the cupra would have been a fair battle and as for the lotus, did the driver have legs??

think 80% of it comes down to driver and knowledge of where they are racing

the thing is, anyone can drive fast in a straight line, doesnt prove anything.

on track, its a different story, ive seen an mg beat a m coupe, a nova beat an s2000 ( i have a video of the nova ;) )

like u say turbo, track knowledge is the key and how much you trust your car. that guy in the lotus either couldnt drive for toffee or didnt want to push his car coz of how much its worth.

BM 330 around twisty b roads the other day.Must say i was gobsmacked that the little Dini was able to do it. Coming from a 320hp meg 250cup this car is very good around B roads but needs a bit more grunt on the straights.

straight lines can prove quite alot with reguards to launchs, gear changes etc but it is alot more about the power u have/can put down

iv driven a few lotus's and have been amazed by the levels of grip they offer!
so yea if id just bought one i wouldnt wana smash it but then if u were out on track in it and a twingo went past u ........

altho i do think the 133 is one of the most under valued car on a track. iv been at a track before where drivers have laughed at a 133 and then 10 mins later its pushing them round a corner with only three wheels on the ground

Not a brand new Audi S4... although the driver did stop and ask what "that angry little car" was... He was shocked how much I managed to catch up on a sweeping corner (almost large round-about-at-a-junction-with-a-motorway like, but you don't find many of those on private roads ;) )

The 133 suprises me, its unlike any fwd car ive driven. It feels totally alive and like ot doesnt want to understeer but rather like it constantly wants the flick the back end out, like it will force itself around corners it really shouldnt get around. Its certainly not the most composed car, feels like its being thrown round a corner, but theres no doubt the grip is there amd that it will do it. That combined with having enough power to make it quick but not enough to overwelm the wheels even if youre stupid like me and its gonna show lots of cars up in the right hands and probably even hands like mine

Agreed track knowledge is deffo key, as it the innate driver skill.
As for the exige yeah I think it was partly the driver skill mixed with the fact the car is worth so much more therefore he didn't want to bin it.
The Cupra I didn't overtake but I stayed quite easily with him the Cup just doesn't have the legs to get passed. But when we got out he did say he was on the edge and didn't want to push it further.

On the straights as said the 133 just doesn't have the grunt, it's round the corners it really gets back in the 'fight'.

Yesterday, on the way back from Fast 5, somebody with (atleast) 8k Hids decided to find out what my car was, never even got close.

Then I had somebody behind him in a EP3 CTR, trying to find out what the badge was that was on the lower left of my boot. We made eyecontact, smiled and laughed :p

Suzuki Swift Sports are pretty well matched for it IMHO. They can rev more, but the Twingo's more Torquey (not to be mixed up with Torquay  ) I think.
