Central locking problem. Driver's side won't open even with a key.

As said my wifey has a problem, so now I do as well 😁. The central lock opens only the passenger door, the driver's side won't lock or unlock, not even with a key. I locked the door via the black tiny contraption at the back of the door, her the lock. So the car is at least locked. Is it the central module problem? An if so, how do you change the darn thing? I mean how do you remove the lock from the module?
