Ok,

I wanna do some things for charity

ive run in the past etc...

i wanna do something bigger/better and raise some money for certain charities!

Any ideas of things i can do? im very unfit so i will need to get fit obv..

but yes.. please float some ideas about

I wanna do something big... but no idea what.. like i would love to row the atlantic (its an event that happens once a year) but there is no chance i would be good enough for that/even get an entry!

We have a fair few of these events organised through work, pretty good if you get sponsored enough - parachute, skydive, Great Wall of China walk to name a few.

by road, the distance is 1400 miles, 300 miles per tank, so thats round about 5 tanks of fuel, plus over night stoppages, shouldnt be too bad. be a great laugh though

always thought of setting up a drag on one day.
get a massive club grouping to go to santa pod on "run what you brung" day, but include 197.net/megasport. should be able to get cheaper on door if a large group pays before hand but charge everyone an extra 5er or so.
cover 3 areas, massive group meet including sister sites, get to do something related with the cars and raise money
wonder if it could work with hiring a track, get discount via lots of members going and getting track to put their name towards the charity event.
I know RR places do discount for clubs but put discount towards charity and as above get their name down to
etc
