Just had a look behind my rear lights (take them off) and there is some serious dirt behind there. Just wondering if any one has cleaned behind there and how they went about. Also would there be anyway of blocking it off to stop dirt getting up there afterwards?

I've never looked at mine. Mud flaps should stop it
Not sure if they will and Haven't found any decent mud flaps to put on a twingo yet.

Go in the boot and behind where the lights are there's a small nut with a built on washer. Take that off then unclip the power and control wire plug an you should be able to pull it out. It's surprising how dirty it gets

It appears that the wheel arch leads right up to where the tail lights are. Lack of arch lining doesn't help that.

I actually foam and use a 90 degree lance in the arches but what I've noticed is that the water when you blast into the arches will come out through under the tail light and where the arch bolts on.

If you want to give it a good wash, take off the tail light, bag/tape up the lightingh and brush it all with an all purpose cleaner. Same idea as if you would your engine bay if that was really dirty. Then rinse it off carefully. :)
