Hi all,

Should just be a quick question.
How do you clean microfiber cloths?

I've got my drying towel and polishing/waxing cloths to clean up but I'm not sure how to...beyond the obvious, "Stick it in the washer and hope for the best" :p

Cheers Guys and Gals

Avoid powder. It can clog the fibres. You can buy dedicated washes and some are very good but woolite does just as good a job and is far cheaper and more readily available. Don't use softeners etc. I just pop it on a long 40 wash with a cap of woolite and they come out good as new

Agreed about using no powder. I use a very small amount of delicate fabric softener, which is perfect for the job, but it is quite expensive.

The other important thing is temperature; I'd say 40 degrees maximum. Some cloths will begin to lint excessively because the glue that holds the fibres to the cloth has been melted in the wash.

Never taken it higher as 40 has never failed to get anything out with woolite so far. Tbh the only stains are products and it's usually quite soon after a wash
