Started a while ago when i was turning left only at slow speeds 2-3mph, noticed a couple of days ago it does it whilst turning hard left at speed 40-50 and above  Been told that this could be steering rack, is there any way of finding out? Lookers want £50 off me for a 'Diagnosis'!

When mine did this it was loose wheel nuts. Try tightening them all up 1st.

Checked Balljoints they're fine, all wheel nuts are torqued, will have to get it up on the ramp and check suspension :)

Also might be a cv joint gone mate....if it does it in full lock then that's one thing to definitely check

Definately not CV joint, as you can't hear it if you're outside the car... :/ And it does it after 1/2 turn when really going for it :L

arb droplinks? i had the same trouble on my old zs and it turned out to be that!
