I drive a 2010 clio 1.5dci I music.

At the moment it has some pretty terrible looking alloy wheels on it - I have been looking at getting some new alloy wheels but want to stay with genuine renault.

My question is - will the wheels from a Twingo fit the clio? I am thinking the ones of a GT (I see there are some for sale on here actually!)

Mine has 15" alloys on it at the moment I believe.

yep tommy they'll fit snugly. the offset won't be much different. 4x100 with a 60.1 mm hub, offset shouldn't be more than a few millimetres so this would have no effect on how the wheels sit in the arch

clio offset - et 43
twingo gt offset - et 36

inner clearance will be 7 mm more
outer clearance around 7 mm more (wheels will stick out the arch a further 7 mm) so should look a bit better!

Yay! thank you Oscar - So I wont need any new bolts of rings etc? just a straight swap with my alloys?

quick edit of my initial post, done the calculations for you. good price for those gt wheels too. straight swap, use the same wheel bolts and locking nuts. bish bash bosh jobs a good one

OOO! so it may even make it look a bit less narrow (always think my car looks a bit pinched from behind)

I had best get some clearance from the boss (wife) ... then ignore!

well you can flog your current wheels for cheap and basically get your money back :) can't really complain there fella

Thats a point - they aren't kerbed and have ok tyres. Might do someone on here for winter wheels i suppose! or try and fit them to the wifes scenic.

are they 15's also? it could be worth your while to take them to a tyre shop to have them swapped over for about 20 quid onto the gt wheels, and then sell the rims as standalone's on a clio forum for a ridiculously low price just to get rid of them quick. if you like the clio 172 wheels, they go very cheap on cs.net about 150 usually as seen below

they are 15's actually - not sure on the exact size. It is my sisters old car so they are a good brand (she is made of money) and it handles very well on the tyres it has now, so I may do that!

I like the wheels above (had some on an old clio but in 15") but I think the GT wheels may suit the clio I have..... unless they arent available anymore!
