from any clutch specialist, quite literally. i even spoke to a guy local to me as i'm changing clutch and he said he checked on his computer and he can make me one to handle 300 Nm of torque for £180. i'd give you a number etc, but they don't do postal orders and i suspect you're not close to glasgow. movingshadow (moderator) on here recently got pretty much the same sort of clutch for around the same kind of price. all they do is use the existing shape and uprate the compound and friction plate springs and you're good to go.

They only have clutches for the older twingo on clutch specialists mate, anyone know any other websites or that?

you need to phone up, use the name ''matteo vrancken'' (matteo, correct it if my spelling is poor) and clutch specialists will allocate you the correct clutch. explain that i put you through to them, and ask to talk to andy bedford. he knows who i am. it's not listed on the website. 230 or thereabouts without clutch release bearing, 300 with clutch release bearing.

this is with clutch release bearing. it's amazing what you can find when you take two moments to google :p

That's like past tence as its one from there and its fitted. Ash also has one from there. Phone them :)

i wouldn't recommend that on a little 1,149cc 4 cylinder. you'll be done for on the motorway and your car won't feel very responsive unless driving at close to full revolutions all of the time. remember that the smaller the engine, the larger the flywheel to help the engine turn through it's non power / dead strokes. the more you lighten it, the harder it becomes for your engine to work. that's why V12's have flywheels as heavy as a shoe and a twingo has a flywheel as heavy as a house metaphorically speaking.

but if you're determined that you want to do that then your best bet would be to take your flywheel to an engineering shop to have it machined on a lathe / CNC :)

^^^^ :)

Also, a lightened flywheel doesn't magically give you more power. It will help with the acceleration as the rotating mass is lower, hence that will be easier to spin up quicker. This will be more noticeable on lower gears with a higher ratio, than the longer fourth/fith, which give less mechanical advantage, having a 1:1 ratio or longer.

Is will also let the engine slow down quicker. So, if your engine management isn't a quick enough to catch and stabilise the engine speed as its dropping to idle, it will end up stalling

phone them up with your chassis number martin, they'll be able to check their entire database. you share the same clutch as some lagunas and clio k4m's and .... renault scenics ;)

Hi, I know that the communication is already older but I want to ask if you found something for RS, because I am looking for lightweight flywheel and uprated clutch kit
